Payday Super is now law
From 1 July 2026, employers must pay superannuation guarantee (SG) at the same time as salary and wages.
Watch ATO’s short video where Deputy Commissioner Emma Rosenzweig explains what you need to know and do.
You can get ready now to stay ahead of the deadline. If you use the ATO’s Small Business Clearing House (SBSCH), this is closing as part of the Payday Super changes.
Look now for an alternative provider so you can transition before the SBSCH closes on 1 July 2026.
Supporting you to be ready for Payday Super is our priority. ATO will continue to add information, guidance and resources to our website and keep you updated in this newsletter.
